This notice explains which visitor data rsa-bet.co.za collects, for what purpose and for what period, and explains erasure. The responsible party is Sandpiperline Media B.V..

Responsible party
Personal information collected on rsa-bet.co.za is handled by Sandpiperline Media B.V., Emancipatie Boulevard Dominico F. "Don" Martina 31, Willemstad, Curaçao. Send privacy requests to [email protected] with “Privacy” in the subject line.
What we record
Readers cannot register here, there is nothing to subscribe to and comments are switched off, so little is recorded:
- Server logs: the IP address, the browser string, the URL visited, where the visit came from, and a timestamp. Used to spot errors and abuse, deleted after 30 days.
- First-party cookies: the four listed in the table below.
- Email: the sender address and text of any message you mail us, stored until the conversation ends and deleted within twelve months of it.
- The feedback form: whatever you choose to type into it, treated like an email.
We never ask for ID numbers, banking details or your betting history, and we do not build reader profiles.
Purposes
Logs and cookies help us fix faults, block attacks, count visits to each section, to see which operator links are clicked so that commission can be reconciled, and to answer messages. The legal basis for logs and cookies is our interest in running and paying for a free publication; for replies, your own message starts the exchange.
Operators and the commission link
When you click an operator link, our redirect passes the bookmaker an anonymous campaign reference, not your name or email address. Details you then type in at the bookmaker fall under that company's privacy notice. We receive only aggregate reports of sign-ups and deposits. No reader data is sold, and advertisers receive none. Hosting and the redirect run on servers contracted by Sandpiperline Media B.V., some of them outside South Africa, under contractual safeguards.
Your rights under POPIA
The Protection of Personal Information Act gives you the right to see a copy of the information we keep on you, to fix errors in it, to have it erased and to object to its use. Requests are answered within thirty days. A complaint about our handling can also go to the Information Regulator of South Africa accepts complaints as well.
Minors and security
RSABet is for adults. Messages we learn came from someone under 18 are deleted unanswered. Pages are served over HTTPS and server access is restricted to the people who maintain it. The check date under the heading changes whenever this policy is edited.
Cookies this site sets
The server that delivers rsa-bet.co.za sets two first-party cookies on every visit. Both are marked Secure and HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read them. When you follow one of our outbound links to a bookmaker (addresses starting with /go/), the redirect also sets two short-lived cookies.
